The MEC SEO Academy is underway!

We’ve been in a great position lately, merrily recruiting some of the UK’s rising SEO stars. So first-off, a big welcome to the guys that have joined us over the last few weeks and months: Tahera, Mike, Carolyn, Noel, Matt B and Matt H.

With the vast growth of the SEO team, now running at 10 SEO’s (and still looking for more Manchester SEOs), we wanted to make provisions to ensure that the quality of learning and professional development is maintained.

As such, we’ve been hard at work of late building a new training scheme for the raft of SEO’s that have joined the Mediaedge:cia SEO team: the MEC SEO Academy.

The MECosconi Cup

SEO: Keywords to Key Meaning

Search engine optimisation has moved on somewhat since the ‘golden age of keyword usage, where a few keywords in your meta tags would work wonders. Now though, the golden age is long gone. If you’re working with on-page SEO / on-site SEO you now need to ensure your website targets a range of semantically related keywords across a range of ranking factors to promote a deeper level of relevancy to the search engines.
