The inaugural MECsconi Cup took place at Riley's on Deansgate on the 15^th October contested by several of Mediaedge:cia Manchester staff.

After the group stages, four competitors, Nick Reeve, Matt Delaney, Dan Alderson and Steve Winstanley went through to the semi-finals.

Steve was victorious and took home a grand prize of £24. Steve played with consistent class throughout the night, remaining unbeaten in the group stages and coming back from 1-0 down in both his semi (vs Nick Reeve) and final (vs Matt Delaney).
