{jcomments off}As you’re all probably aware by now, MEC Manchester loves to help people in need. Our latest adventure is for MedEquip4Kids.

4 Brave MEC staff will be doing a terrifying 50 mile hike across the Pennines. Yes you heard right, 50 Miles!! That’s just shy of two marathons to complete from sunrise to sundown, same day!

On Saturday 26^th June, Laura Sweeting, Tahera Dudhwala, Danny Hopwood and Alex Brown will begin their journey come rain or shine. We’re aware the task will not be easy, and will test us to our very core (I’m one of the hikers and actually quivering as I write this.... what have I signed up to I keep asking...)

Training has already begun with walks to and from work, and weekends forfeited to walk aimlessly around Manchester to see how long we can last. (if you see us, please say hello...help stop us from going insane!){jcomments on}

To help raise as much money as possible for the very good cause, we will be holding a fundraiser on Thursday 25^th March at Atlas Bar on Deansgate. So make sure you come to have a giggle, a drink, meet some new people and win awesome prizes such as
